URBAN MUSIC THEATRE PROJECT - INTRODUCTION

Community Arts North West in association with Zion Arts Centre and Sunshine Studios presents

Street Dreams

Urban Music Theatre 'Street Dreams' flyerA story of Community, Unity and Change. The voice of the Community speaks through many voices. Whose responsibility is it to create and build a sense of unity in our Community?

It's the build up to carnival and the community is buzzing with anticipation for the return of local hero and Rapper FESAL. But what happens when something random shakes our world to its foundations? And when it falls down, how do we put it together?

Street Dreams is the third and final year of CAN's Urban Music Theatre Project aimed at engaging young people from Refugee and Asylum Seeker backgrounds and young people from Host Communities, integrating young people, artists, volunteers and youth workers from across the city to present an alchemic mix of original and exciting Hip Hop Theatre Production.
