Exodus site decoration workshops travel across Greater Manchester
From 12 noon on Sunday 18 July, Albert Square will come alive with the Exodus Refugee Arts Festival,
showcasing dance and music performances, colourful costumes, delicious food and creative activities from
many corners of the world.
During June & July, Community Arts North West will send a team of 5
visual artists into the local community to work with refugees & asylum seekers to create unique
handmade site decorations for this year’s festival.
The’ll also be
working with the participants to create images of flight and hope for the onsite parade
starting at 4pm. We are delighted that this project has grown from strength to strength over
the years and engaged communities from across Greater Manchester.
So don’t miss out, come
along to the Exodus Festival to see all this exciting work on display.
