Jaheda Choudry - MC AND LYRIC WRITER

I learn while I'm teaching & teach while I'm learning.  Both I do from my own perspective as an artist.  I believe in building the uniqueness of each individual I am workshoping.  As hard as it may be, I'm living as an artist and am living my dream.

I'm from an acting background & have worked in theatre, film & TV, I also play with the idea of film making and hope to work it out someday. I have worked as a mentor & workshop leader for numerous projects around the UK including TANB a leadership project in London, Weapons, a knife & knife-related crimes awareness programme in West Yorkshire and have facilitated Contact Young Actors' Company, a young persons' theatre company set up at Contact Theatre. Over the past year, I have put all of my creative energy into discovering my voice and am part of a Hip Hop collective called Ajah, we have performed in Manchester, Reading, London & New York check us out myspace.com/ajahuk. ajah@live.co.uk

Jaheda Choudry

Jakki Perkins - VOCALIST AND CHOIR LEADER

Gill Bradley - ASSISTANT DIGITAL ARTIST

My work challenges cultural norms and asks questions about social constructs. I work with a diverse range of art mediums, primarily sculpture and installation. Incorporating film within these mediums adds a further dimension to my artwork.

This challenges the viewer's perception of both sculpture and film. I love to get my hands dirty-my installations are interactive and invite the viewer to climb over, in and around my creations.

I am involved in the organisation and running of a 'Community Allotment' project where youth groups grow and cook their own produce. We also run workshops on eco-building techniques and plan to build our own cob structure.

My film work has a strong element of documentary. I work collaboratively with animal rights groups to make campaign films that are relevant worldwide. bradley.gill@hotmail.com
